About
Having experienced law school as both a student and law professor, Rob believed that students needed a program that was devoted to teaching the practical skills that would have the greatest impact on their success in law school, on the bar, and as lawyers. He founded Sui Generis to create an environment where he and his colleagues could work with students across law schools on academic and professional success.
Rob has been involved in all facets of the law. After graduating cum laude from Penn Law with honors in legal writing, Rob worked for almost a decade at some of the most prestigious law firms in the country, including Skadden and Ballard Spahr. He went on to teach Advanced Civil Procedure as an adjunct law professor. He now runs Sui Generis, which has expanded to offering year-round programming.
Sui Generis works with students on everything from law school applications to study strategies, exam-taking, legal research and writing, interview techniques, and legal hiring.
Graduating from law school, studying for the bar, mentoring junior attorneys, running associate training programs in Big Law, and devoting 20,000 hours to legal analysis and writing as a commercial litigator have proven to be the ideal set of experiences for a motivated professional committed to creating programs that would accelerate student success in law school and beyond.
